Today, May 11, marks the opening game of the Kontinental Hockey League’s championship series. Here is the full schedule for the day (all times Moscow time).
14:30. Lokomotiv vs. Ak Bars.
The winner will be determined in a best-of-seven series (first to four wins). The first two matches will be played in Yaroslavl on May 11 and 13. The series then moves to Kazan for games scheduled on May 15 and 17. If necessary, additional matches will take place on May 19 (Yaroslavl), May 21 (Kazan), and May 23 (Yaroslavl).
In the semifinals, Lokomotiv overcame Avangard Omsk in seven games, rallying from a 1-3 deficit in the series. Ak Bars defeated Metallurg Magnitogorsk in five games (4-1).
