Rafael Leao has not scored a single goal since March 1, when Milan beat Cremonese 2-0. Meanwhile, speculation about the Portuguese winger’s departure continues to grow, with Manchester United repeatedly mentioned as the leading club interested in his services.
According to Sport Media Set, Manchester United sent scouts to watch Leao again during Milan’s 3-2 loss to Atalanta. This marks the second time in less than a month that United representatives have traveled to San Siro to observe the forward, following a similar scouting trip in late April during the 0-0 draw against Juventus, as reported by Tuttosport at the time.
Leao has a release clause worth €175 million, but several sources indicate Milan has set a much lower asking price for a summer sale—around €50 million, according to the same Media Set report.
