Takeo Keirin F2 Morning meeting opened on the 13th, with the first day of races held at the Takeo Keirin Velodrome. In the 4th race (A Class Preliminary), Takaaki Yamamoto (51, from Okayama, 76th class) followed Yuji Ogawa to secure first place. It marked his first victory in one year and five months, since the final day at Toride on December 14, 2024. “I had injuries, and last year I didn’t win any races. I’m really happy,” Yamamoto said. On the second day, he will appear in the 6th race semifinal, teaming up with fellow Okayama rider Rintaro Tatsuno.
